Can I leave my aligners out for the duration of my two week holiday, or will this affect tooth movement?

Q. Hello! I\’m off on holiday next week for 2 weeks and I\’m worried the aligners will be effected because I will be a bit lax when it comes to leaving them in etc can I leave them out for two weeks till I get back from my holidays? Or will it really affect the teeth movement?,

A. It is not wise to leave your aligners for that length of time. Your teeth would move back.
