Can invisalign close my extraction gaps?

Q. Hello! I recently had an operation on my gums to remove a tooth that was too far pushed up. I was told that there will be a permanent gap there now and it\’s pretty close to the front. I just wondered if invisalign could close extraction gaps? My dentist has told my parents that I\’m too young to receive a dental implant and asked us to look into orthodontic treatment, I\’m 16.
