Can you tell me of the major differences between invisalign teen and the normal one?

Invisalign Teen works the same way as Invisalign for Adults.

The major difference is with regards to the Aligners themselves. The Invisalign Teen Aligners have built in intergrated “Compliance Indicators” (CI’s). Each aligner has a Blue DotWear Indicator positioned towards the back of the aligners. The indicator is Blue to start with and fades to a Clear Colour over a two week time period. The idea of the indicator is provide the Invisalign Doctor and wearer with information regarding compliance and progress.

Also, with Invisalign Teen, if aligners are lost or damaged then up to 6 free replacement aligners can be ordered throughout treatment. With Adult Invisalign there is usually a charge for lost or damaged aligners to be replaced.
