Can you tell me why invisalign causes a dry mouth?

Q. Hello, may seem like a silly question but can you tell me why invisalign can cause dry mouth? I would have thought there would be even more saliva but this does not seem to be the case with me. Is there any feasible explanation? Regards,,

It is possible that the dry mouth may be due to dehydration, as maybe you are drinking less during your treatment
