Am I too old for Invisalign?

Q.
When I was about 14 I had braces to treat a slight crookedness of my teeth and used metal braces. Now I am 22 and the slight crookedness has returned and it is really affecting my confidence. Reading up now I see many dentists say to wear retianers forever pretty much. But my dentist never told me and my teeth have gone back to the way they are. I am wondering if Invisalign will be able to help me and also what kinfd of cost I would be looking at because of my age. Thanks.
