Q. I had nearly completed a two year treatment with invisalign but then began to experience pain in my front upper tooth and this was then put down to root loss. My dentist has not been very explicit on what this means for my tooth. will i lose it? is an x-ray the way to know?,
A. An x-ray would definately help in diagnosing the cause of the pain. If there is some root resorption, this doesn\’t mean that you would lose the tooth. I would recommend a thorough assessment of your symptoms.
