Do I need to have my teeth extracted when undergoing the Invisalign treatment?

Q. Do I need to have teeth extracted when undergoing the treatment? I have a massive phobia of the dentist but i feel some of my teeth will HAVE to be extracted for the invisalign to be fitted correctly. Are there any other options for me?? thank you,

A. Extractions are a last resort. If you are seeing a dentist with over 400 cases submitted then you are probably getting the best advice based on experience. I rarely extract teeth. Dr R Kumar BDSLDSRCS
