I have been for a checkup/examination and moulds were taken for impressions of my teeth and have been sent off to the invisalign lab. That, however, was a month ago and I am still yet to receive my braces. I have rang my orthodontist and he continues to badger me off with “they’re coming soon” How long does it usually take for the aligners to be made? I know they are coming from america, but i would expect them to be here by now for the amount of money i am paying. Any help you can give would be great, and the words of another doctor, will hopefully scare my own into doing something!

please be aware it can take 4-5 weeks to get your aligners. The reason is not just because they come from the States but also because they are producing all the aligners for your treatment and this can take time. Please be patient and be reassured it is normal to have to wait for your aligners to be constructed.
