I am a professional swimmer, will the chlorine affect my invisalign treatment?

Q. Hi, I\’m an expert swimmer so obviously go to the swimming pool every day! i\’ve just had invisalign fitted, will the chlorine mess them up at all? I\’m really worried and forgot to ask my dentist! Thanks for the help!,

A. I don\’t think that Chlorine would damage the brace but I would discuss it with the Invisalign dentist. Depending on how long you swim for, it may be best that you swim without them in your mouth.
