Q. Hello, I am an invisalign patient and since getting my trays I have been getting lots of soars in my mouth. And i also feel like the bottom tray is making a cut in my tongue. Can you tell me if this is common and also what I can do about it? Can I drink sparkling water in place of my old favorite Diet coke? I don’t want to have to take my trays out often.
A. Hi, you may have an active tongue wihich is rubbing against the aligners.
You can drink anything you want so long as you regularly brush your teeth.
