I don’t think my teeth are straight enough after Invisalign treatment

Q.
I have completed an Invisalign treatment. At least that’s what the dentist says. I still have a lower canine which is leaning slightly in front of the teeth next door. I was hoping to get it straightened but the dentist told me that canine cannot be moved because the root is too big. Is it true? If so, shouldn’t I have been told before I agreed to the treatment? Looking at picture, my teeth are nowhere near as bad as the case study.Thank you for taking the time to read my question and I look forward to reading your reply. Thanks.

Hi
Sometimes the teeth don’t track as initially proposed, this may be for a number of reasons and then often an additional course of aligners can correct this. This is known as ‘refinement’. I would speak to your dentist to see if you are suitable for this. Alternatively a short course of additional orthodontic treatment should definitely correct this.
Good luck
