I have swollen gums from the invisalign, is this normal?

Q. Hello, i\’ve had the aligners now for a couple of months and it\’s only now that my gums are very swollen and very painful 🙁 i\’m really worried is this normal? should i speak to my ortho?,

A. I would seek advice from your orthodontist as to why this has happened and how to prevent it from happening again.
