Q. Hey, so my ortho told me that the invisalign would be pretty much pain free but the sharp attachments are cutting me and causing ulcers too. Is there anything i can use to \’smooth\’ them down or anything? I haven\’t been given anything. Thanks,
A. Hello, First of all, you might want to tell your symptoms to your dentist. Secondly, keep the aligner in as much as you can so you would not feel the attachments. The soft tissue itself gets used to the new situation and the ulcer heals very quickly.You could give Bonjela a go but it is not necessary.
