Q. Hi Simon I hope you dont mind me asking for your advice but I am already in the process of having invisalign treatment. I have had to have 19sets on the upper and 25 sets on the lower. So far I have paid all my treatment up front including suitabiltiy examination, clin check and lab fees. I also pay £105 (per set) for my aligners each time I visit my dentist for ongoing treatment. I am slightly concerned however that on my 20th treatment I am now only having one aligner fitted but am still paying double the price (£105 x 2). I understood it that now I am having only one aligner fitted the cost would be halved to £105 x 1. Please can you advise me if I am correct and where I can find the update information on prices.
A. Hello,
I’m afriad that this question is best answered by the dentist or the dental practice with whom you are having the treatment.
Every practice has it’s own fee structure and policy.
The practice where I work do not operate payment in this manner and is specific to the practitionier that is treating you. I am not familiar this charging policy.
I am sorry that I could not be of any more assistance.
