Is sipping green tea bad for the teeth and aligners?

Q. I know most drinks are a no no when wearing the alingers and I have duly stopped drinking coffee. I have even ended my love hate relationship with coca cola. But can you tell me if sipping on green tea is very bad for the teeth and aligners itself?,

A. At least with the green tea the pH is not acidic and it contains no sugar. If you have to have the aligners in when drinking green tea I only do so if it is not too hot for fear of warping the aligners.
