i have had invisalign for 18 months now, i got it and was up to number 6 of 13 on the lower and 26 of the upper, when i discovered i was pregnant, i found it extremely uncomfortable and painful all the time, and when i began to get morning sickness, i rang my ortho and asked to stop treatment untill i ha the baby, as it was making me feel sick and heave. After i had the baby i continued treatment and was worried that my teeth may have moved since i hadnt had them in for so long, but they were fine, so i completed the lower liners, but they didnt do what they were meant to do and i was given a further 10 more for the bottom which i was furious about as i hate wearing them, as they cause meso much pain, as i continued through my treatment i got to number 15 of the top liners and discovered they no longer fit, so i returned back to my ortho and he said they are not moving as well as he had liked, and so has said we need to do more impressions, but to keep wearing them for now, any way i went to change to number 16 and that was just the same, but i kept it in for 3 weeks, an extra week so i could get no 17 in and when i came to change it over, it would not fit at all. ive had enough of invisalign, iam so frustrated with it, ive paid £3000 for something that isnt working for me, is giving me alot of pain, so much so i have to take painkillers all day long and night, i originally wanted 3 veneers at the front, but they talked me into having this treatment and made it sound so good, the pain is horrific to the point i cannot eat, as my teeth are that sensitive, i visit my dentist reguarly and have my teeth cleaned properly every 6 months, i wish that id had a proper brace, as i would have been done and dusted, i have complained to my ortho and they just keep saying stick with it, but ive had enough and im not a happy customer, what do you recommend i do?
