My bottom jaw is very painful because of the aligners, what can I do about this?

Q. Hi i\’m experiencing a lot of discomfort in my bottom jaw since the invisalign, the top is fine but the bottom is very painful and i feel like i need to remove the aligners! Can i do this untill i see my ortho, i \’m not even getting used to the pain, it\’s been like this for over a week now :(,

A. Hello, I am sorry you experience the discomfort! Your lower jaw might just be a little more difficult case. Check whether there is some soft tissue bruise on the gum or cheek. Usuallay, the discomfort gets better if not contact your doctor for earlier appointment.
