Q. its now the second day of my first set of invisalign aligners, but my tongue is absolutely raw from the plastic edges. its mainly caused by the bottom aligner is there anything that I can do about this? Is it possible this will go away with the second set of aligners?
A. Occassional the first set of aligners can sometimes irritate the tongue .
It would only last for a few days until the soft tissue gets use to it.
In the meantime you can smoothen the rough edges with a nail file or get your dentist to smoothen it.
