Hello, Dr., I have invisalign (14 aligners). my treatment has come to an end but my treatment is not incomplete as mty teeth are not in the correct position. My dentist has told me that the canine tooth still needs moving other than that everything is fine as they are align from the inside. (but not from the outside).The smile is important with straight teeth or just align inside? I completely disagree. What do I do? thank you for your time

Hi there! It sounds like you are having refinement, which happens for about 20% of the cases. If you would like the outside surface of the teeth to be fully aligned (they are called the buccal surfaces of the teeth) it is fully understandable. Please have a chat with your dentist to let them understand exactly what you would like, and there shouldn’t be a problem providing it to you. Best of luck, Vasileia
