Are adjustments after Invisalign treatment is complete normal?

January 23rd, 2012
Q.

hello doctor Thorne

Could you explain a little bit more about adjustments with invisalign braces? My dentist tells me that I need further work, longer than he estimated when i first got the braces and I just wanted to make sure that that was a normal thing to do and that I am not being lead on with further treatment.

Is is normal to have extra work to my teeth after the designated time?

thank you doctor for your time

My treatment is complete, but my teeth still need aligning, what should I do?

January 5th, 2012
Q.

Hello, Dr., I have invisalign (14 aligners). my treatment has come to an end but my treatment is not incomplete as mty teeth are not in the correct position. My dentist has told me that the canine tooth still needs moving other than that everything is fine as they are align from the inside. (but not from the outside). The smile is important with straight teeth or just align inside? I completely disagree. What do I do? thank you for your time
