Does Invisalign treatment require removal of other teeth to make space?

August 17th, 2010
Q.
I am looking into invisalign and from what I can read there does not seem to be any need to have teeth extracted for this treatment. This seems to be the case with metal braces on the other hand from what I have read. Is there any way in which teeth will be affected by this brace treatment, I have heard of something called tooth shaving but am not entirely sure what it is? And is it safe please?,
