There is a significant difference in pain in my upper and lower jaws, why is this?

Q. I had my first set of trays in place a few days ago and i\’ve noticed a significant difference in discomfort. the top jaw is in more pain than the lower, is this normal? i\’m worried! also it\’s much easier to take out the lower than the upper, why is this?,
A. The difference lies in the fact that both arch are different. It should get better and easier with time
