What is a reasonable age for a child to get braces?

Q. What age is it reasonable for a child to get braces? I am asking in relation to my son who is hoping to have his teeth straightened. He is 11 now. Is there age a concern for Invisalign?,

A. There is a product available called Invisalign Teen which is tailored for the younger patient. It takes into consideration a few replacement braces in case your son loses any and there are a few other special features. I would speak to an experienced Invisalign dentist for more information.
