Q. Just got my aligners in and I am quite a sporty person. Football, running and swimming to name a few. What\’s the deal with doing these sports when wearing the aligners in – any danger? What about the chlorine in the swimming pool? I don\’t want to damage the expensive things.,
A. Hello,First you should discuss this with your provider as well.Since the aligners fit very thight you should be able to do all the above activities.I do not believe there is too much water getting into your mouth from the swimming pool anyway, so it should not be a major problem.However, do not bleach your aligners at home when cleaning them.I believe your dentist gave you the instructions how to take a good care of the aligners.
