Will chlorine from swimming pool have an effect on the aligner?

Q. I go swimming and am concerned about how the chlorine in the water will affect the aligners? I don\’t really want to lose time not wearing them swimming when I could be eating!,

A. It is very unlikely that your aligners would get damaged by the chlorine, it would really depend on how long and how often your aligners would get exposed to chloring. How many hours daily would you be swimming? And how likely is it that are your aligners to be in contact with chlorine for a prolonged period?
