Will I have a lisp for some time when I begin Invisalign treatment?

Q. Hi Raj Will the Invisaign aligners affect how I talk (lisp etc) and if so how long for? I am about to get them but have some really important meetings coming up at work. Thanks,

A. The lips may be present for about a few hours. You must remember to pronounce your words more so that you can overcome the aligner thickness. The lips will need to work more and you cannot mumble Dr R Kumar BDSLDSRCS
