Would it be too painful to clean teeth when I begin Invisalign?

Q. Hello doctor. I have heard that when you first get your aligners it can be quite painful. Can you tell me if it will be too painful for me to clean my teeth and floss? I don\’t want to let things slip you see. Cheers.,

A. It will be fine for you clean and floss your teeth. The discomfort you get with the aligners is only mild.
