hello and thank you for considering my question. I have to admit that i am a bit of a teeth grinder both day and night and I wondered will this effect the invisalign? I worry that i will grind through the aligner or at least cause some damage. Or in the long run ruin the brace work that has been performed. If i would cause damaged to the Invisalign brace can you recommend any other braces that would be just as good and as discreet?

Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately there is no other brace that is as discreet and as comfortable. We do have patients that are bruxists and they manage just fine with Invisalign, but it depends also on how much grinding is involved. The best thing to do is to have a consultation to try and assess how much tooth wear has already been caused from the bruxing and if you would be a suitable candidate for Invisalign.
