Would you recommend invisalign for young children?

Q. Would you recommend invisalign for young children? I have a young daughter, she\’s 7 years old and her teeth are very mis-aligned. Is there anything else you can recommend if she isn\’t really suitable for invisalign? Thank you.,
A. Your daughter is quite young to receive any form of orthodontic treatment as her baby teeth will still be present. In some countried they treat children at a very young age, but in the UK they usually start monitor tooth development regularly and some children may start treatment around the age of 11. Each child is different as some will develop their teeth earlier or later than others. I would recommend that you take her to see the dentist regularly every 6 months for check ups and when the time is right your dentist will tell you when she can be referred for orthodontic treatment.
