I have just had my Invisalign braces attachment removed and can feel a crack, what should I do?

Hello, hope you can help me.

I have now come to the end of my Invisalign and am happy with positioning of my teeth.

However, I’ve just had my attachments removed and when I got home I discovered a crack in one of the teeth where the attachment was fixed to. This crack was definitely not there prior to the attachment being removed. As well as being able to see it, I can also slightly feel it! The attachment did take quite a lot of hard work to remove.

What should I do. Could this be a serious problem? Obviously I’ve spent a lot of money and waited two years to see the benefit of this treatment, to now be left with this.

My orthodontist didn’t mention it to me. Is it serious, and what should I do?

Can Invisalign straighten my teeth in time for my sister’s wedding?

hello there, i have a severe overbite and a gap between my two front teeth would invisalign be a likely candidate? How long does it take the treatment to reach its goal on average, I just ask because I am to attend my sister’s wedding in 6 months and would love to have straight teeth in time of the pictures! If Invisalign wouldn’t be the best choice would you be able to recommend me another brace system, I would be very grateful if you could. Thank you for your time

Are the costs my dentist is charging for Invisalign treatment correct?

I recently went to my dentist to enquire about invisalign but wanted a second opinion as he has only been involved in invisalign for two years. I visited another dentist who told me that I would need invisalign for ten months and he put together a price plan. However the prices was Â£800, Â£600 higher than the first quote and I am expected to pay for xrays outside of this. The dentist told me that xrays should be carried by dentists every few years but I feel that I am being misled..after doing some research the xrays are needed as part of the diagnostics for invisalign. Does this price seem high & should xrays be included?
