Hi Dr Raha. Is there any chance you could help me? I broke my Invisalign retainer recently and I’m afraid to tell my orthodontist. He’s quite scary. Will my teeth be okay if I just leave it? I know your supposed to see the treatment through to the end but my teeth are fine and straight enough now. What should I do? I don’t want to go back!

Hi Dr. Manoloutsou. I did something really daft – stood on my invisalign aligner!! I feel so stupid, it snapped completely and I’m worried now that my dentist will be angry. Will I have to pay a lot of money for a replacement? Any advice you could give would be great!

Hi! When I was 13 I had slightly crooked teeth and had braces to straighten them out. My dentist at the time never mentioned that I’d have to wear a retainer afterwards, so I didn’t. I’m 27 now and they are slightly crooked AGAIN and I hate the way they look. Would Invisalign be able to sort my problem out, or am I too old? Also how much would Invisalign cost for a situation like mine? Thank you.

When I was 17, I had fixed braces but I wasn’t keen on them at all. I now have front bottom teeth that overlap (I’m 28 now) and I’m not sure why this has occurred but obviously I want to sort it out! I don’t want to spend a lot of money, and I’ve heard that 6 Months Smiles is a cheaper option than Invisalign – but which treatment would be best for me?
