Am I paying for invisalign and metal braces treatment separately?

Q. I have a front tooth overbite and my dentist has recommended me metal braces for the bottom and invisalign for the top. Does this sound normal to you? Does this increase the price having 2 different treatments or the same grounds? He has not said anything about tooth extraction so hopefully that will not be necessary.

A. My advice would be to ask your dentist if you are being charged tiwce. if so then may be one treatment for upper and lower would be sufficient. Normally the lowers may be more crowded and in inexperieced hands then Invislaign may be difficult.
