Are invisalign braces causing my sensitive teeth?

Q. Hello. I have been using invisalign for 6 months now and was having no problems, but my teeth have suddenly become sensitive to hot and cold drinks. Is this because of the braces? What should I do?

A. Invisalign aligners are unlikely to cause sensitivity to hot and cold. It is very difficult to say what the cause of the sensitivity is and therefore I would recommend you go to your dentist for advice
