Can Invisalign fix teeth that have relapsed after prior treatment?

Q. I understand that after wearing invisalign it is essential to wear retainers. has this always been the case with braces as my dentist never told me this after my fixed braces treatment finished? Now, because of this I have to get Invisalign because I am unhappy with my smile.,

A. Yes, I do not think that orthodontists put enought emphasis on wearing retainers. I see a lot of young adults whom have had straight teeth when younger and their teeth have moved because a retainer was not worn.Long term retention of teeth is essential to maintain their position!
