Am I okay for invisalign if I had metal braces before?

Is it possible to get invislaign if I had metal braces when I was younger? I have heard somepeople say this is not possible, something to do with hhaving teeth extracted,. but I would much rather have your opinion on this?

Can I have invisalign for top teeth and metal braces for bottom teeth?

Can treatment combine invisalign and fixed braces?

Do you know if it is at all possible to start with fixed braces to move the teeth a bit and then move onto invisalign to finish the job off? I would rather do this than just go with horrible looking fixed braces and I thinkg this would speed up the process rather than just having invisalign?

Am I okay for invisalign if I already had fixed braces?

When I was younger I had fixed braces but the treatment did not work out all that well for me and I brought it to an end. Now a few years down the line I am thinking about going with invisalign but have heard that you can not have this treatment if you have had fixed braces in the past. Would you be able to clear this matter up? Is this just hear’say?
