Hello the four front teeth on my upper jaw stick out

February 17th, 2010
Q.
Hello the four front teeth on my upper jaw stick out and make my smile look nasty. when i was younger my dentist did say that i could get braces but told me it was necessary for function purely to improve the look. at the time i said no and wished i hadn’t been so foolish. i am now in my early twenties and want to know how I can get the nice teeth that I want. The thing is I don’t want the train tracks on my teeth so would appreciate your help.

I am unhappy with Invisalign results but what can I do?

February 16th, 2010
Q.
i am now at the end of my invisalign treatment but i am not completely happy and i have told my dentist. my top teeth are my concern as they are not what i want completely even though my bottom teeth are looking really good. the dentist said i can wear a metal brace for two months to finish the job but i dont see why i should have to seen as i paid so much money for invisibleness of invisalign to fix my teeth. do you know what i can do about this if anything?

Can Invisalign help with virtually sideways teeth?

February 12th, 2010
Q.
My teeth are crooked and I mean some of them are virtually sideways. This makes them appear horribly crooked and also makes there appear to be gaps as well. Can Invislaign help me?

Can I have invisalign even though I have had fixed braces before?

January 18th, 2010
Q.
When I was in my teens I wore a fixed appliance to fix my crooked teeth. At the time I also had to have four teeth removed to make room. Now I am in my late twenties and my teeth have become crooked again though not as bad. Do you know if Invisalign can help me? Will the same problem not just happen again after years?

Do invisalign braces pain the gums?

January 8th, 2010
Q.
I know the invisalign model is clear and looks relatively scratch proof against the gums, so I presume they are nothing like the way metal braces cut up the gums. But, is there any pain with the gums common to the treatment or does this not happen at all? I don’t mind the thought of the pain with mocing the teeth but don’t want to have my gums and tongue shredded.

Can invisalign treat teeth that are sideways?

January 8th, 2010
Q.
I really like invisalign and think they are the best discreet choice. But can they treat teeth that have moved sideways? There is not really any crowding as far as I know but one of my teeth close to the front is sideways. It looks horrible and I really want to get it sorted. If I can not get invisalign would I maybe be able to start with metal braces and then do invisalign to finish the job?

Are invisalign a comfortable option for braces?

December 17th, 2009
Q.
I am seriously contemplating getting invisalign but I have a few questions that I was hoping you would be able to answer? Are they similar to metal braces in terms of cutting the gums to bit and causing endless saliva? Do they hurt every time you get a new one like when you get metal braces tightened? Thanks.

Are invisalign anything like metal braces?

December 2nd, 2009
Q.
I am relatively new to the whole invisalign braces so could you tell me of some of the major positives and weakness of this treatment? Are they like metal braces in that they can not be removed?

Are invisalign braces comparable in pain to the metal braces, or are they an easier option? What about removing them – is this possiblem? As I know it isn’t with the metal braces?
