Do invisalign braces pain the gums?

Q. I know the invisalign model is clear and looks relatively scratch proof against the gums, so I presume they are nothing like the way metal braces cut up the gums. But, is there any pain with the gums common to the treatment or does this not happen at all? I don’t mind the thought of the pain with mocing the teeth but don’t want to have my gums and tongue shredded.
A. Somew people scratch their gums when they are learning to put the aligners in and out but it is minimal, much more comfortable than fixed braces.

hi there, I recently got Invisalign braces and have been wearing them for about 2 months and have been suffering from sore gums and one of my teeth is feeling a little sensitive. I am going to see my dentist next week but just wanted to see if i could get any advice in the meantime to possibly settle my mind. Could the Invisalign have caused this soreness and looseness? thank you
