How long after tooth extraction can I begin invisalign?

Q. My dentist thoguht it best to have my wisdom teeth taken out before I go ahead with invisalign as if they were to start moving coming through more during treatment then this would only cause further problems. Now, all I would like to know is how long the area needs to heal before I can get impressions taken for the braces?

A. You should leave the area at least 6 weeks so it has healed.
