I had a tooth replaced with an implant after an accident, not content with my smile will I be legible to use invisalign?

Q.
hello doctors

i had an accident about a year ago now, where one of my teeth was knocked out. I had this replaced with an implant, which has settled in very nicely. However, i am still not content with my smile at all, which features two very ugly front nashers to everybody! would I be ok to have the invisalign treatment combined with the implant which is at the front of my mouth or would it impeed results??

thanks very much

A.
Hi there,

Invisalign is usually still possible if you have a dental implant. However the implant tooth cannot be moved due to the way it is fused to the bone and there can be risks involved which you need to discuss with an experienced Invisalign doctor. Other options may also be possible so i would advise a couple of consultations to make sure all possibilities have been explored. I wish you well with your treatment.
