Q.
Dear Doctor Kumar, Can you please assist me today., I am a teenager and before this two years  agoI had braces placed on. Since then i bhave got an infection in my teeth, and i had to remove it within one yr’s time.I have a space in my front teeth as well, also my gums are very weak and i have excessive bleeding from them.I am planning to do a treatment of Invisalign.Am I supposed to clean up again before starting the treatment? (I did it before but it didnt help me). What am i really supposed to do? Thank you for your time and I hope you are well.

Hello and thank you for your enquiry. The best thing I can advise is for you to ask your dentist. He should not be providing Invisalign unless your oral hygiene is adequate. So get a check up and get your gums checked and cleaned thoroughly before going ahead with the Invisalign treatment. Hope that helps. Dr R Kumar
