im unhappy with my invisilign dentist.i gave them half of a $2000 downn payment.i was under the impression that when i went in a week or 2 later my trays were going to be ready,instead they just showed me digital images and asked for the other $1000 for the other half of the down payment.i told them i would pay that when the trays came in….so they kept calling me saying the trays were ready to be delivered and they needed the other half of the down payment,i gave it to them and set up an appointment for the next week,i got a phone call the day before the appoinmnet saying there was a problem in the factory and the trays havet even been made or hipped yet and should be here by the end of the month.so far its been a bout a 2 month process ive given them $2000 and have received nothing.am i being dramatic or should i ask for my money back and go somewhere else since i feel like im always getting the runaround?if i do ask for my money back would i get a full refund since i havent received any treatment yet?

the constructions of the aligners takes place over two stages
stage 1- preparation of the digital images which can take approximately 2-3 weeks (allowing for shipping) once these are done and approved then we can move onto the next stage
stage 2- constructions of aligners which can take 3-4 weeks (including shipping)
So it is normal to have a bit of a wait from the day your moulds are taken to the delivery of the alignes. Furthermore payment is required for those two stages to cover for the lab expenses.
You are very unlikely to be able to have a refund as the aligners are already constructed and they are constructed only to fit you and no one else
