Q. hey, erm well i\’ve been using the invisalign for a few months now and it\’s really great! But my gums are bleeding terribly I have no idea why. i\’m due to see my dentist but if i have gum disease does that mean i have to re-start the treatment? because obviously he\’ll need to treat the gums :(,
A. It is really difficult to say what level of gum disease you have and what treatment you require without a clinical examination. If you only have gum bleeding and no other signs of gum disases, a scale and polish by the hygienist may be enough. I would recommend you speak to your dentist for an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.
