Is it completely necessary for me to have a tooth removed so that the invisalign will fit properly?

Q. My ortho said that one of my teeth has to be removed so that the invisalign will fit right. Is it completely necessary to remove a tooth? Can I do anything to prevent this? Thank you,

A. Unfortunately I cannot tell whether you require an extraction or not. Each case is different and some patient will need extractions and some won\’t.
