Is it possible to straighten teeth without need for filing them?

Q. I really dont want my teeth filed, but want invisalign. My top 2 front teeth are overlapped causing spaces either side, my bottom teeth 3 are crooked but i dont mind them not getting them straightened. Is there any way to get them done without filing, or do you know any ortho who can do this thank you?
A. Hi
You can have your crowded teeth straightened without filing using the Invisalign technique by what we call distalisation,
That means moving them gradually backwards to create the necessary space in front to correct the overlap.
The down side to it is that it prolongs the treatment time.
