Is tooth extraction ever necessary for invisalign?

Q. Is there ever the need to have a tooth extracted for invislaign treatment? I don’t want to get a tooth removed but have heard this is usually what happens with metal braces but I don’t want this.
A. It does occur, it depends on what your teeth and jaws look like.  Often one tooth can be removed at the bottom front if they are very crowded.  Less than 10%  of cases need teeth removed.
