My dentist has said I will need refinements. Is this normal?

Q. My dentist has said that I am going to need two refinements at the end of my invisalign. My teeth look okay but I am only too happy to get the job done completely. How often is it that invislaign users need to have refinements and how many do they normally need?

A. Some case can need 3 or 4 it depends on how well your teeth respond to treatment.  Most people need a refinement just to finish things off.
