My speech is still being affected by the aligners after a few days, why is this?

Q. My speech is still being affected by the aligners even though i\’ve had them in for a while now, i have a really bad lisp and it\’s really embarrassing, why is this? i was told it would only affect me for a couple of days :(,

A. Usually if the aligners are worn as prescribed the lisping does eventually stop or markedly improved.
