Q. do many of your patients have problem with trays breaking? It has happened with my top tray on numerous occasions and it takes a while for dentist to get new ones which i feel is hoding back treatment. is it my faul or the dentist? can you explain it?,
A. I have had this happen a handful of times. It tends to be with patients with very crooked teeth who are removing the braces unevenly, if you can try and take out both sides of the brace together rather than one side then the other side. It doesn\’t place as much stress on any particular part of the brace and therefore is less likely to crack.
