Hello Dr Sepehrara. I’ve got a small problem but I don’t want to ignore it in case it’s really important and ruins my whole treatment. It doesn’t feel like my aligners are fitting properly.My first set really hurt my gums and I was really aware of them, and my gums only stopped hurting when I started with the next set. I’m still on the 2nd set but they feel quite loose, like there’s no strain at all. Is this normal, or should I feel more pressure? I don’t think they fit right in comparison with my first set. What do you think?

Hi, thank you for your question. It’s difficult to give you advice without actually seeing you, so I think you should go and visit your orthodontist as soon as possible and they will be able to advise you properly. As a rough guide, there should be very little (if any) space between your teeth and the aligners.
