Could Invisalign help with my jaw problems or should I try another treatment?

Hi I have had problems with TMJD for years (as well as crooked teeth!) I have heard that Invidalign can help with this. Would it either stop the pain from my TMJD or at least reduce/improve it? or should I look at other options?,

Is it possible to have invisalign without bands?

Q.
I have a 13 year old son whose upper jaw has grown unusally. His upper right side has ballooned out to creat a misaligned bite on that side. It may have been caused by knock. All his infant teeth are out now. The othodontist here recommend that we use metal upper braces secured with mini elastic bands to bottom right teeth. I think this would not work with my son as he has motor skill problems. Could Invisalign help without fiddling with bands?,

Can invisalign cause any problems with the jaw? i have tmj problems but i\’m in dire need of braces, the orthodontist has recommended invisalign but i didn\’t ask if it would cause my jaw any trouble, what do you think? :),
